Simple but Elegant
There are lots of different themes that you can choose for a wedding i.e. burlap, western, shabby chic, Hollywood glam, etc. The list goes on and on.
My favorite is simple elegance. I had the pleasure and honor of creating a pillow recently from a wedding dress. This dress was designed to be simply elegant. The bodice was pleated with large soft pleats and adorned with one flower. That was it. There was no bling, now pearls, no beads, and no lace. What there was was timeless elegance.
I designed and created this pillow to reflect that elegance. The pleats are reflected by the gathered overlay, the flower adorns the center of the pillow just as it adorned the dress. The only thing I added were the bride and groom’s monogram.
As they say on tv, dress – $2,000; pillow $225; remembrance of one of life’s cherished moments – priceless
